The DJI Osmo Action has joined the top-shelf club of action cameras, but how does it compare to the two market-leaders, the GoPro Hero 7 Black and the Insta360 One X?
While new to the action camera market, DJI is well established as a market-leader in the drone sector, an industry in which GoPro tried to compete, but failed. The new Osmo Action is set to be a game-changer, putting additional pressure on GoPro to deliver.
Consumers now face more of a challenge in selecting their choice of action camera, with the new DJI Osmo Action offering an impressive design, specification and feature-set, but how does it compete with the Insta360 One X and the GoPro Hero 7 Black?
How does the Osmo Action compare?
The Insta360 One X camera, slightly different to the other two, but often compared by consumers. 
The current action-camera market-leader GoPro Hero 7 Black.
The first decision point when buying is the price point, all three cameras are sub-$400 with the GoPro Hero 7 Black recently being given a discount by most retailers, therefore aligning it with the price of the new DJI Osmo Action.
