DJI Inspire 2…

The new DJI Inspire 2 builds on the success of the previous model by introducing professionally focused features to this impressive aircraft.

Key enhancements beyond the specification of the original model are as follows:

  • Dedicated 2-axis stabilized FPV camera separated from the core film-camera for pilot navigation.
  • 67mph / 108kph horizontal speed
  • Increased ascent and descent speed.
  • Obstacle avoidance for up to 100ft ahead and downwards.
  • Infrared sensing system for obstructions above.
  • Dual battery design, giving 27 minutes maximum flight time.
  • Fully compatible with custom lens fitment.
  • Removable SSD drive for storing footage (also Micro SD).
  • Master and Slave remotes now have range of up to 328ft apart from each other.
  • New intelligent modes including ‘Spotlight Pro’ and ‘Profile Mode’.
  • 2 new camera profiles.
  • Live streaming broadcast quality at 1080p

Phantom 4 Professional…

Key enhancements beyond the specification of the original model are as follows:

  • F2.8-F11 Mechanical Camera Shutter
  • 4K video at 60fps with higher bit-rates and less compression.
  • 20mpx digital stills without rolling shutter effects.
  • New ultra-bright 5.5″ monitor, brighter than most tablets.
  • Enhanced Active Track with 3 new Intelligent Flight modes.
  • Rear Obstacle Avoidance.
  • IR Obstacle Avoidance on sides.
  • Higher capacity battery giving 30 minutes flight time.
  • Obstacle avoidance now enabled at higher speeds.

The concern for potential consumers of the Phantom 4 Professional will be the price-hike beyond the RRP of the Mavic Pro, the more compact sibling.
